Laser cutting and engraving in Puerto Vallarta

Quick answer

We laser cut and engrave acrylic, wood, MDF, leather, cardboard and glass, and mark metal with fibre engraving. Cut precision is within tenths of a millimetre, which allows interlocking pieces, dimensional letters and one-off personalisation from a single unit.

The laser solves what no other technique can: unique pieces, shapes impossible to die-cut, and one-by-one personalisation with no tooling cost. We use it equally for a counter display and for engraving a hundred tumblers with each conference attendee's name.

Frequently asked questions

Which materials can you laser cut?

Acrylic, wood, MDF, plywood, cardboard, leather, felt and textiles. We do not cut PVC or chlorinated materials because they release corrosive and toxic fumes when burned.

Can you engrave metal?

Yes, with fibre marking on stainless steel and aluminium, and with thermal coating on other metals. That is what we use for tumblers, tools and ID plates.

What is the maximum cut size?

90 × 60 cm per run. Larger pieces are handled by sectioning the design with box joints and assembling afterwards, which is standard practice for dimensional letters and displays.

Do I need a special file format?

Yes, vector: AI, DXF, SVG or PDF, with cut and engrave lines on separate layers or colours. If you only have a JPG or PNG, we vectorise it for an additional fee.
