Offset printing in Puerto Vallarta

Quick answer

Offset makes sense from roughly 3,000 copies up: the cost per piece drops sharply and it allows exact Pantone inks, which digital can only simulate. At Publiprint we produce magazines, catalogs, folding boxes, pads and corporate stationery for hotels, hospitals and developers across Banderas Bay.

Offset is still the standard when volume is high and brand color allows no drift. The initial plate investment pays back quickly, and the result on fine papers — with varnishes and special finishes — reaches a quality digital cannot match on long runs.

Frequently asked questions

At what quantity does offset beat digital?

As a practical rule, above 3,000 pieces. Below that, plate and make-ready costs make digital cheaper; above it, offset keeps lowering the unit cost.

Will offset match my exact Pantone color?

Yes. Offset prints physically mixed Pantone spot inks, not a CMYK simulation. It is the only way to guarantee an identical brand color on every reprint.

How long does an offset job take?

5 to 10 business days depending on finishing. Spot UV, hot stamping or custom die-cutting add days because they require tooling or extra passes.

Can I see a proof before the full run?

Yes, we provide a certified physical color proof on request. It is strongly recommended for large runs and whenever brand color is critical.
